quintcorkTo be honest every park should be required to have that sign
Forrest.Gumpyou cant call it freestyle... and then tell me what to do...
If a resort doesnt provide a basic jump / beginner park, for kiddos to learn... it just seems sociopathic to place that sign up... how do these clowns justify a beginner park / features with rails is beyond me?!?! a baby park should provide rollers, texas kickers, ride on boxes... then there are the adults standing around, not skiing? that are pissed off about their own ignance? pissed off that a 10 year old can rip a texas kicker, not sure if he just missed therapy... @partyandBS #mindblowing
The best sign ever was the one at the arapahoe basin water spring, it read,
"fitzsimmons is a lil bitch"

Voyage86i’m kind of with forest on this one. Only problem i have with it is kids who roll over the lip and dull it out. Other than that snaking would still be a problem because the kids are next to the features if they hit the lip or not. what other reasons are people getting pressed about? it kind of just feels like a way to hate kids and jerry’s without saying it. they are people who are just trying to have fun like us. we don’t have any entitlement to the park or the features and if a jerry wants to use the freestyle feature in a free way, they can. what forest is saying seems like fine logic to me.

partyandBSwell i think it would help with having people of the appropriate skill level in the right park. what happens when billy goes over a lip onto a stair set becomes a paraplegic and then winning a multimillion dollar lawsuit? probably the death of the parks at that mountain. there’s a park for billy to learn at and he should go there and progress with out being a risk or a nuisance to himself, others, or the facility.
Forrest.Gumpthere HAS TO BE Rules to Freestyle!!!!!
the sign should include must use poles, and no nose butters allowed.
Thanks

BigPurpleSkiSuitBoy I know you ain't dissing Tom Wallisch on this website
gvski13Its obv not gonna stop people from doing this. Out East I don't care because the lips are always so firm that hitting it doesnt do anything to it. But, when it is slushy and soft it completely destroys the lip.

Voyage86what destroys the lip? using it???? pretty funny tbh
skiP.E.I.It can get to the point sometimes when there are so many jerries and little kids in the park that it's unusable by people trying to hit the features.
Another point is that a lot of kids might not have the reading level to comprehend a sign like that even if they notice it. Most of these kids have the absolute minimal awareness of what's happening around them.
Voyage86not sure if you are agreeing or disagreeing with me or how any of that has anything to do with not doing a rail off a jump meant for a rail
skiP.E.I.I'm saying the park gets crowded with children and jerries because those demographics want to hit the jumps next to the rails, with no intention of learning how to hit rails or ride the park. So many of them do it that the park gets very crowded, to the point where it gets difficult for folks trying to use the park. That's why it makes sense to discourage side jumping if possible.
