How much difference can I expect switching from Blizzard Ruster 10 to Volkl Revolt 104

I have been skiing for more than 10 years and recently started to learn tricks in terrain park, most of my quivers are hard charging or all mountain skis (Enforcer 94, Rustler10/11, 70/80mm race skis). How much difference can I expect switching from Blizzard Rustler 10 to Volkl Revolt 104. And what could be a better option for a park only freestyle skis, to replace one of my quivers?

if you’re used to stiffer skis, a good park ski for you could be the K2 Poacher or the ON3P Jeffrey models. Or a slimmer Revolt, i’ve heard great things about both the 90 and 95

Ooooh, great question. I used to ride rustler 10's a few years ago and I still love them to this day. It would be worth demoing some stuff before you pull the trigger on anything. Pull up to a demo day with a list of skis you want to try and send it!

The difference will be so great that the second you click into your new skis, you will forget how to ski and break 62 bones from a brutal crash! You CANNOT switch to a ski that is that different that the one you are on now, only bad things will happen.

The revolt 104 has a rec mount point at -2/3cm. The flex is also different, in the revolt the flex is more circular while the rustlers have softer ends with really good grip underfoot.

I would say you are on the right track with the r104s. I tried them last year and felt like it could charge while still being playful enough for park usage. I would argue tho that r104s is a 50/50 allmountain/park ski due to weight, size and feel.

Thanks all the replies. Im 5’9 180 lbs, and has been skiing 180cm Rustler without problems. Shall I get the 172/180 r104? Also looking at attack14 binding, it has b95 and b110, I assume b110 is the way to go?

Revolt is gonna be softer - will get deflected more in chop and definitely has a speed limit in regards to stability compared to your rustlers. That said, they'd be much more playful and forgiving at slower speeds....
