Toying with the idea of replacing my touring set up with something that suits me more...don't laugh but I am running some boring AF twigs (Zag 95 in 178 length..I know f'n short same as my..). Started looking at ON3Ps touring line, but in my opinion they are super ugly. Anyways, started messing around with their custom ski options. First of all they are super reasonable for being able to customize so much from top sheet/base/edge colors, flex, etc. Second a month turn around isn't bad for custom skis. With that being said, I am curious if anyone has done custom skis through ON3P? How was your experience? (Imagine not all that different from buying one of their production skis, but you never know).
I built customs recently on the ON3P website and it was a pretty good experience. I made finals for the Worst Topsheet competition and they reached out and asked if I wanted to buy my designed custom ski at a discount. Obviously said yes. Went into the designer and whipped up my ideal ski.
Ski was built on the Jeffrey 110, size 181, build with the Soft Flex pattern, Trash Panda topsheet with Manus Dei bases. Stock layup. The graphic came out awesome and looks just like how I designed it.
Put my order in on August 1st, skis showed up on August 22nd. After putting in my order, I got a call from @iggyskier to talk about some of the custom options I had selected and figure out how to build the right ski for me. I had initially wanted a 50/50 layup for weight and flex reasons, but Scott highly recommended I go for the stock layup for strength and durability, advising me that the current Jeffs are alright lighter and softer than the 2018 Kartel 108's that I've been riding. He said that they would try to pick out the lightest cores that they had on hand to build into these skis. Revisions were made, skis went into production, and I got my skis that are super fun and I ride often.

I love my customs. 100% worth the money. The only input I will add is that if you use a topsheet graphic for a model that it isnt designed for, keep in mind that the graphic might look slightly different. I almost don’t even want to add this because its so minor, but there is a slight blemish on the tip of my ski. I would assume its because I picked a graphic that belongs on a totally different shape and it got warped a bit. The guys at on3p are beautys tho, they definitely wouldn’t send out a ski if there was actually something reasonably bad.

Thanks! Yeah I honestly prefer solid color top sheets, which I imagine can’t really be messed up. I’m thinking of going with that purple color with green base. Love that look.
They are honestly great for what they are, which are really light touring skis. I also have light bindings on them and use light boots. All that equates to something that shines going uphill and does ehh going downhill. I want something that allows me to really have fun on the down.
