Icelantic Skis???

Used to ride danollies back in the day. Fun skis, felt solid, seemed like they were pretty durable. They felt like good quality skis. Only bad thing to say about them is that they weren’t super responsive/poppy. Seemed like they became more damp over time

I like ‘em alot for slashey skis. i haven’t found that they hold the best edge in true firm snow but they slide around really nicely. pretty damp and forgiving over rough stuff. not great pop and spring. have this super soft white edge around the top sheet that peels away instantly.

you think they dont retain poppiness due to a bamboo core?

Pretty badass ski I must say. Incredibly fun. That being said the pairs that I’ve ridden and seen ridden do lose their shape over time so yeah I guess they become more damp as Mr. bale said.

Yeah, although I’m not claiming as a fact or that I know much about ski construction in general. For what it’s worth I was talking to a homie who’s been riding Icelantics for a while now and he was saying the same thing. Still recommend the skis, especially if u can get a deal. Personally wouldn’t pay full price, especially with cad-usd exchange rate

I believe Icelantic & Fat-ypus both still made in the NeverSummer factory in CO.Idk what that intails exactly, same materials i assume, great quality from what ive experienced so far.

I rode 3 pairs of DaNollie/Nomad 95 for 3 seasons. They are super fun and light skis. They always feel loose since so much of the ski is rocker. They hold up very well in soft stuff for being 95 underfoot. They also do great on jumps. Obviously they aren't gunna hold landings like poachers, revolt, or a twp, but i never had issues hitting jumps at park city on them.
One thing you need to do if you buy is to register them for their warranty (must be done within 30 days of purchase). 2 out of my 3 pairs I managed to snap. Im 6' 155lbs so not a big guy by any means, but each time they were great with honoring their warranty and replaced the skis at no cost aside from shipping.

Also, not trying to self promote, but I know there isnt a ton of footage of people skiing them. Here is an edit from the last year that I rode them.

i got sum jets which are supposed to be reskined danollies and i really like them. super soft fs but hold up on landings. pristine on rails though. there really smooth.

I have this years nomad 95s and they are very light but really lack pop, they are scary if you are tryna charge. I also skied them for probably 15 days and they have base delam, and the topsheets were torn to shit.

I got nomad 110 lites for touring. They’re great. Really predictable, poppy, not too stiff, damp, nice sidecut, basic rocker/camber, good jack of all trades ski would highly recommend. Dunno about durability yet.

Okay thanks! Im looking for skis that are gonna last me a bit and and knowing they have a warrenty def a plus. I know that tons of people here will tell me to get on3ps for durability but I want to stay open to other options and maybe try out something different :)
