Replying to New Boots Make My Feet Numb
I know there are some threads on similar issues but I wanted to share my specific experience. Today I rode my new boots for the first time. for reference, I am a size 11 shoe and was in some 29.5s before. My new boots are 26.5. My roommate works at a shop and boot fit me to this boot and they fit around my foot pretty tight but not any uncomfortable pressure points. And the new boots are Salomon S Pro Alpha 130s. About 1 run in and my feet went numb and it was pretty painful. I’d like to think I have a pretty good pain tolerance but man it was unbearable. Especially on the lift. And towards the end of the day it didn’t hurt asss much but I think that’s because my feet were dead numb. When I took my boots off it took about 25 mins to fully regain circulation in my feet. I’ve never had “performance fit” boots before so I havent experienced something like this. Is this a serious issue or does it go away as I break the boots in. Anybody have advice or similar experiences?
