I’ve got some pivot 15s and the heel piece on one of them just spins around with no resistance. I know they’re supposed to spin but normally the little white tab keeps them in place. I can still jam my boot in there and they stay on but I’m worried they’ll explode mid butter. Anybody know what I need to tighten/replace to fix it?
if it can turn easily with a boot in the binding then foreword pressure is too low. If it's just like that with no boot in the binding then that's normal.
Are they new? My older 10 year old pivots would sometimes do this..basically a bunch of slop/lack of friction within the baseplate. I don’t think it effects binding functionality tho?
You mean you can spin it around when the boot isn’t engaged? I don’t have them in front of me but I seem to remember this being normal. Also, the half moon can occasionally ride over the white tab. So sometimes you have to slide it sideways and back to get it pressed up on the white tab correctly.
