As far as parks go in montana, its top five but their jumps blow and the rails are well aged. On the other hand, when you go to the bar, its cheap and they allow you to take your drink on the lift. It got a great vibe and lots of good skiers with great attitudes. The hill is pretty small and there is way better terrain to ski in the state. If you have a car, i would also recommend discovery and lost trail, they are a far drive from helena, but worth it to experience the last of true montana skiing.
If you’re in Helena you might want to hit Teton Pass in Choteau. Mom and pop ski hill. If you’re there on a powder day you will probably have the place to yourself.
You need a awd drive vehicle to get there if the weather is bad.
Great vibes, park has potential but lacks in one way or the other. Stuff is cheap which is awesome and everyone is stoked and having fun. Feels like a time capsule from when skiing was all fun.
