This has happened to me numerous times lately. Maybe I'm the only who googles "phrase or word, site: newschoolers.com" and then clicks the link to an NS thread.
just now for instance I did that, then replied to the thread, which shows it is in Ski Gabber. But after my reply which posts succesfully, the thread doesn't bump back to ski gabber homepage.
also want this to come back, we need old threads bumped popping to the top, otherwise how will new people learn about precious NS history. @eheath this needs to be priority #1 tbh
I've had that happen with a few 5-6 month old gear threads. I'm tryna be good and ask a question in an existing thread instead of cluttering the board, but nobody can see it if it doesn't bump. Idk if it even sends notifications about a new comment in the thread
Smh the post a street spot thread isn't bumping and I found some gold. E heath says its some glitch and mods can't change the site but it's been months and no fix.

Honestly the site is useless with this not working. Instagram is already where people go for new things that are happening within the ski industry. If a thread gets to page 2 on NS, it is now dead forever. If there is a popular thread that people revisit annually or a larger conversation that tales place over years as the ski world changes, it is now dead. NS will literally take its final L and be put in the ground if this doesn't get fixed. Wake up.
SendyMcSendyfaceFair enough, looking forward to it.
Same! sounds like they're finally moving on from some OG code which was basically worked around for years. It'll be a great change, but I imagine we will need to be patient.

Hey everyone,
I've noticed a lot of people recently complaining about threads not getting bumped when new posts are made. It seems to have been identified as a bug, and NS has mentioned that they're working on a fix for it.
However, while digging through some older threads, I came across a post from months ago that suggests this behavior isn’t actually a bug but a feature. This has left me a bit confused—am I missing something here, or could I be reading that older post out of context?
I just wanted to clarify because I’ve been experiencing this issue myself, and I’m not sure if we should expect it to get "fixed" or if this is just how things are supposed to work.

I thought there was also a bug with the "feature" too, maybe im wrong, but I imagine this will all change with the new back end.
BallClapperUh, thought this was already covered. Three new posts bumps a thread. So spam some shit to bring one back.
Woah interesting where did you see this? Odd feature. Obviously three random ppl likely won't bump an old thread the same day or even in the same week. So we just have to spam post to bring em back eh.
