jompcockTech bindings I never really bank on releasing properly in a crash so IMO. As long as they're in good condition I wouldn't be all that worried. I guess prerelease could be a concern and plastic binding components can be a lil scary in terms of reliability.
Non_State_ActorMy thoughts exactly. They don't really *work* very well when new so how much worse could they get?
What kind of touring are you doing?
HeadacheMostly just for approaches on ice climbs, also maybe some treeline skiing on high avi hazard days
profa_212I mean if youre just using them for that I honestly wouldn't worry.
How much are you paying if you dont mind me asking? There's a lot of bindings out there you can get for cheap these days. You can usually find radicals or rotation 12s for super cheap, and Id take those over the onxy. They're lighter weight, less plastic, and there is a shit load of old pairs out there for replacement parts.
