N41v131355Can your shop install tip & tail rivets? I'll epoxy, install rivets and give them another chance.
corkfiveShop wont do rivets, they said they could try epoxy again but the results wont be any different. they offered a pair of 2022 blends at a pretty steep discount but im not sure what I want to do because ik their durability isnt great. Maybe just epoxy it and tape it up to ski it for the rest if the season to see what happens

Non_State_ActorDIY. Don't pay a shop to epoxy those...get some West Systems G-Flex 650 Epoxy. Clean up the delamination and make sure it's fully dry. Mix up some epoxy, wear gloves, eye protection, don't breathe the fumes. Slather it inside the crack, you can use a heat gun or do it in a warm area so the epoxy is runny and gets down as far as possible. Then use a wood clamp and some blocks to clamp it up. Wipe off any excess that squeezes out. Let it cure for 24 hours. Trim off excess epoxy with a sharp blade/utility knife then sand smooth.
