ya.. the design is pretty sketchy. the guy that designed it is also quite sketchy. i dunno if you guys have heard, but there's a park being built in bridlewood (about 2 seconds from my house.. pretty fuckin sweet, too bad i'm moving out), anyways, it's supposed to be open in august..

also, i'm trying to find the contact information for the people that are involved with the construction of the park - if anybody is interested in submitting ideas, message me, and hopefully i'll have the info by then.

i was in meetings with the city about skateboarding in ottawa, i posted a while back for people to come, you all missed your chance so i gave up and now any hope of ever getting a decent park is gone down the drain, ottawa is fucked for skating and will always be.

haha, I just hit up Kanata Skate Park and it fucking sucks. Man, what is there to do. Maybe for skateboarders you cna do some vert shit or something but for me as a inliner I couldnt do shit. the only good thing is the 8 set and I cant seem to find a way to hit it without people getting in my way on the long curvy inrun.

haha man, the nepean park might be the only decent park because it will be independent contractors building it, the design shoul be decent since they got some good people working on it (i think the millenium park crew, its a canadian comparny that makes skateparks i think)but that will be the first and last park ottawa will see for quite some time...

yeah whereabouts will this park be? my guess would be centrepoint, because thats where tons of skaters skate 'illegally', nepean city hall is there and there was a debate at the city hall about making a park in that area not too long ago, but i dunno...

tisk tisk orleans is a pretty sick park... prob better than kanata's im guessing and theres not as many people either.
