Prodigy 1 vs ARV 88

im planning on getting new skis and getting into park but still going most of the time all mtn

im between these two, which one would you guys recommend? I would get something wider underfoot but i owned a pair of blends (100mm) and i kinda wanna go narrower this time

Prod 2 will be better than prod 1 for all mtn.


but overall prod>arv. Arv feels lifeless and old compared to what is available now.

The nordica unleashed 98 is an excellent all mountian park option. I have a friend that raves about them. But, he's a turn nerd with too much money so... He recommended to me, a more freestyle oriented skier the 4frnt switch. I'm really thinking about it. I think you should check it out, seems like a solid all mountian/ park ski.

As someone who is currently on the Unleashed 98, I can confirm. I mostly ride all mountain but will spin a lap in the park every now and then. They've handled everything I've thrown at them so far with no issues. A unexpectedly good ski from Nordica.

Fun ski but horrible durability for park skiing. Metal sheet decamberises the ski after jumping couple of days and starts looking and feeling like a fucking banana/vishnu type of ski. Also horrible glue job and sidewalls delamed on two different pairs after 4-10 days of skiing rails.

Yeah, the thing with those is that they are 200 bucks more. If i had that money to spend i would go for ON3P skis.

you can get last years model for the same price as the faction and armadas. Same ski, slightly different graphic.

Where can i find those online? Ive searched on evo and they have very few last year models.

Just google Nordica unleashed 98 and click the shopping tab. Should Bring up a bunch of options. AlpineShopVT has some.
Suppose it depends on what size you need too.

AlpineShopVT has a 168cm
ChristySports has a 174cm and there are a few options for 180+ sizes
