Toe binding pulling out

looking for some advice for my toe binding. Been skiing on my skis for ~12 days and one of my pivot toes isn’t flush anymore and I can slightly wiggle it side to side. What would be the best way to resecure the toe? Was thinking of putting wood shavings into the hole and then using wood glue and screwing the binding back in or wood shaving and epoxy. Please let me know what would bombproof these bindings best.

The best DIY move is to epoxy (g flex) the screws back in but if you can I’d take them to a reputable shop and get them to put plastic (snoli) insert plugs in.

Thanks for the response! Yea I have gflex at home. The shop I used to work at/ go to doesnt have the plastic inserts unfortunately. Would you recommend putting filler into the holes or no?

Do they have brass ones? If not either/both are super useful especially if you’ve to handle a mismount or have only bad options for a remount, they should get them in. They saved my ass a bunch working as a tech.

Any filler isn’t going to really do much and wood shavings will be softer than any epoxy anyway.

Last time I checked no, they are kinda lazy with this kind of stuff unfortunately. I had the same issue last year and I cut up a fiberglass cloth and coated that with epoxy, which actually worked quite well. And good to know, I just put epoxy in the holes and screwed them in, fitting snug so far so that’s good. Thanks for the help!

Don't do the shavings. You want a helicoil.
