DYNAFIT RADICAL 2024 IN A CAST SYSTEM ?

likely won't, Radical's are ISO 9523 so touring-specific and don't have an AFD. Pivots are certified for Gripwalk and Alpine. Sometimes boots are certified to work but not stamped (Scott Cosmos, etc.) but the Radicals don't fall into that.

They will not work. Your best bet if youre looking for a hybrid system and set on that boot is to get a shift. They are MNC so they will work with an alpine, gw, and touring sole. Cast only works with alpine and gw, but is the best in its class by a mile.


personally id just get tech bindings if you have a specific touring boot already. Others may disagree, but i save weight in this order: bindings -> skis -> boots.


if you need cast, youre gonna want a beefier boot anyways. If you want weight and mobility of a touring boot, you wont want a clunky binding. Ya feel?
