A lot of people doing acid these days are probably eating research chemicals. Otherwise both are cool. I only eat mushrooms these days though.

The thing I hate about acid is how long it lasts. Even if I take it right when I wake up, I will generally have a hard time falling asleep at my usual time at night. Other than that, i tend to prefer it

Looking through your history, id say don't take psychs if your main goal with them is to cure your depression. Take them if you want to have a cool time and enjoy nature, have a break from reality. For me they did help open my mind and take things less seriously in life, but maybe that would've happened without them naturally. I still struggled with depression symptoms in years after, though. Theres a chance you sit and think about the things that make you sad and they make you more sad. I'm not saying don't try acid or shrooms, but don't do them with any goal or something you want to get out of it besides just having a good time, or you'll just end up disappointed or worse.

I have heard people micro dosing weekly/daily is similar to when people get drunk/high every day to cope with life's BS, but without as many downsides. I'm not so sure about the truth to that and haven't tried myself, but I could see it being semi true

There's actual evidence supporting psilocybin use in treatment resistant depression. Ketamine too. Kinda the rage these days in the world of drug research (lsd and mdma too). He definitely needs a sitter and to be guided on the trip tho. Of course this should be a holistic approach and approaching the issue from all angles.

It's by no means a cure long term but provides efficacy for up to a year in some people.

With discretion to Any minors reading, this post is for adult use only. Im not a doctor.
If you know me, you understand why I would have trouble during the holidays. Without going down that alley... I will say I tried microdosing as defense to an oncoming depression, angst, anxiety riddled xmas. I would consider myself an experienced psychonaut , previous to this experience. 2017?
The twelve days of christmas I spent trippin in breckenridge was a real hoot. After every meal, I ate various amounts of high grade unknown strain of mushrooms. I worked in a rental shop part time, and skied peak 5-10 on a daily basis. One day I rode the bus around town talking to locals and tourists for two laps before the driver told me he wasnt going by the stop I was waiting for... I got off and walked across town. The rental shop homies joined in, and we gave renters a real breckenridge experience!!! There were ups and downs, but after twelve days, this lifestyle becomes rather enduring. I really dont know how many days this all took place over, but I call it the twelve days of xmas and at a certain point I did not want to be tripping anymore. I sobered up from tripping, which mushies do leave you mushy for a while, and well, here i am... "Crazy as could be!" ;)
All of lifes problems really did become smaller, and something to laugh at rather than be angry about. I still to this day ponder how things could always be worse, and to look for brighter outcomes in the future. the only problem with being super fun guy (fungi pun*), is coming back to reality, a dark and dirty world of crap...
until the next twelve days.

Yeah but all those successful studies had experts helping make sure things like mindset went the route to help depression. If you're doing it outside of a supportive environment, there's a chance to get into a bad spiral. I guess just really make sure you have a good mindset and setting.

I take it back OP you're probably going to experience benefits from psychs but take it easy

the current development and legalization in rado does not allow for any medical research.
such with cannabis, any doctor, researching, experimenting, documenting, would be subject to malpractice, and lose their license.
therefore, my genius, combined with personal experience, makes me a worldwide leading holistic expert.

you travel on NS budget to events and dont produce anything , nyou have never even produced out of the kindness of your heart.. while you enjoy the spoils so many "pro" skiers never even experience.... if you dont collect an hourly rate to be head monitor and control this community website, ziprecruiter is calling you an idiot.
