Prodigy 1.0 vs 0

whats the difference between these two? I bought a pair of prodigy 0 and the only difference i can see online is 3mm overall, anyone knows other diffs? The 0s were much cheaper than the 1s

The 0.0 is a tween/junior ski I think. Depending on your size, ability level, goals it could work for you?

somewhat curious as to why you purchased skis without even doing smallest bit of research or even reading the description of the skis online. lesson learned for next time i guess?

It didnt specify that they were for kids online, but yeah the only difference i saw was de 3mm difference

You'll be fine, especially for jibbing and spinny rail tricks. Don't worry about it.

The Prodigy 0.0 was built to be an entry-level / tweener ski to offer towards first time adult skiers and budget conscious 13-14 year olds (too big to ski the 0.5 youth skis and not ready for the prodigy 1.0 or 2.0)

the 1.0 is a proper adult ski aimed at park and all mountain skiing

I ski in Argentina, and i bought them cause i wanted something to start hitting the park and some big jumps aswell. I will also be using them on some ocasional powder and piste. Thank you for the help bro

No, I mean entry-level to skiing. Will they slide on snow? Absolutely. Would I recommend them for anyone who can ski beyond a first-year’s ability? No I would not.

That said, you will not die skiing on them. But I’d get a proper set of skis ASAP.

For those wondering, these are cap-construction skis with a foam and wood core. They were made by Atomic/Amer with what I think they call their Densolite core. Don’t quote me on that

ya he is, he is also saying it’s an adult ski which means you will be perfectly fine
