Christian_BaleLike I'm going to trust anything ankilla says
BearsOnKetamineOn ankillas story he talked about how his bindings keep ripping out (he’s had 5 bindings rip out). What in the constitution make misfits do this but most skis don’t?
BLandzS/o to Misfit, I fw them hard, was gonna cop a pair this year but passed up on it because I got a crazy deal on old V’s, im hyped to try them out one day tho, they look really fun. If you werent in the live, I feel sorry for you. That was the funniest shit i’ve seen in months. Reid said the N word like 7 times and ankilla tried to stop him but he wouldn’t
(Kidding)

partyandBSi have ana blocked on ig so i missed it but i imagine they tore the ski up, felt entitled to a free pair like they felt entitled to an orange name and when they didn’t get it, they went on a rant on ig. was i close??
also the date range of when you were an orange name had me geekin lmao
snowfinderIdk man he should be an organe name.
MisfitSkisVery entertaining indeed. To throw some points out there without making this a penis measuring contest against ankilla; our durability is on par with most brands, we use a poplar and beech core with the standard 10-11mm wood thickness in the center and it tapers out towards the ends, we try to have the beech under where the binding screws go so that it’s a harder wood you are drilling into. We use a heavier fiberglass underfoot to thicken and stiffen the middle third of the ski platform. We come out of a factory that produces other huge name skis (won’t say specifics, they might not like us to) using the exact same materials and labor and pay the same price (probably even pay more per ski due to our scale). There is no corner cutting to save cost, it’s all the same materials and processes they would use for any other company they produce for. We price our skis lower to be more accessible to those who want a good ski to ride, but could charge $600-800 like most other ski companies coming out of our factory. We also are continually adjusting the construction wanting to make a better and better ski each season, and for only our second season with a product on the market I believe we are doing just fine and on the right path from what started as a ski pressed in our garage to now about 200 total skiers on our skis between this season and last. Ankilla is still the only person to rip out like that, and be it 5 times is mind boggling indeed, so I am unsure how to fully address that issue. Myself (Ian) and the rest of the team stand behind the quality of the product and will continue to tweak and modify each season as needed (for example this year was the first production run of the 96 park ski, it’s a little stiffer than we wanted so tweaks will be made to soften up next seasons version). I’m not going to point fingers and blame the mount or the ski or the skier, definitely a independent case for now unless people start ripping out left and right (would bet money that won’t happen). Really enjoying the small ski community beef though, stokes the flame of a dying industry. Cheers fuckers ;)

BradFiAusNzCoCaAnkilla is a walking liability. He truly is a “no press is bad press” type. Anything for clicks. Support misfit.
fghtoffyrdmnsThe company that supported him despite his bullshit?
BradFiAusNzCoCaThey never supported him. He’s just a paying customer so they avoid trashing him
fghtoffyrdmnsSure didn’t stop them from letting his dipshit ass promote em for em
Forrest.Gumpyou are so unstable, did you get fired from washing dishes, after getting fired from ski instructing?

ROFL, project more delusions about cool people ,

MisfitSkisWe come out of a factory that produces other huge name skis
BLandzFor anybody considering Chris and Bandana homie being in the right in this situation.
1st: They said they heat the epoxy for when they mount, which is terrible, especially with open holes in the ski. Epoxy manufacturers are actually engineers and they do not recommend doing this.
2nd: There is only epoxy at the very bottom of the holes. The main purpose of using it is to seal from water, which it cannot do if it is only at the bottom of the holes. They tried to argue that they used enough epoxy but the topsheet was completely bare. Add this with the fact that they literally heated it up, and also the possibility of using the shitty 5 min curing shit (idk about that tho), you have a recipe for disaster.
This is what my topsheet looks like after taking bindings off, for reference
As you can see there is a volcano of epoxy on the topsheet. Someone might have a pic, but chris’ skis do not have any, except for at the bottom of the hole. Him and his homies are super outta pocket for trying to diss them on live, they seemed like stoney blazed dipshits that had zero idea what they’re talking about. I seriously question their ability to mount skis
Brule.Thank you for posting some clarification about the mounting job. I knew something seemed off when they were showing it on live, and I really wasn’t buying the excuse of not using glue in the mount holes.
I really wanted to say something about it other than the glue job, but I’ve never mounted a ski in my life. I just work on ski boots for a living lol.
Lenny-For the past year I was under they assumption they did in some sorta way. Probably would've been a positive business decision to publicly distance themselves from Xan from the get go. I lost all intrest in misfits because they seemed like they fuck with him.
SteezyYeetersupporting good skier = not core?? i, like most people, only heard of misfit because of xanny, so it's he's been objectively great for their brand.
BLandzYou somehow manage to consistently have the worst takes i’ve ever read and I don’t even think you’re trolling. I pray that you are just a young kid who doesn’t really understand shit yet because if ur a grown ass man I feel bad for your total lack of awareness.
It doesnt matter how good he is, he can be the best skier in the world, people don’t fw him because he does outlandish shit. Personally, I actually like him, but I don’t agree with everything he says. Plus, Idk how u such a 🥩🛹 and somehow don’t even know his name isnt Xankilla its X_ankilla, theres a difference lol.

GrandThingsHoly fuck has his name been a play on "Xan Killa" the whole time?
I feel dumb, but this explains a lot.
