How much snow is needed for pow skiing?

I am sorry if this is a stupid question but it’s going to snow 9cm (3.5 inches) at my local resort and I am wondering if this is enough to get some pow turns. It was really icy the days before so I don’t think it will be enough.

If it's not chunky underneath, you might be able to get some soft turns. But with only 3 inches you're definitely not getting the pow day experience. Some snow better than no snow though!

Depending on wind and how different aspects are affected. 3.5 inches can ski pretty deep. It's just knowing how it gets deposited at your local.
