Took some falls over the weekend and noticed small cracks in the styrofoam on my giro ledge, also the adjustment system thingy broke so I can only use the biggest or smallest setting is it still good to ride with??

maaatttHow long you had the helmet for dawg?
deke_skiprobably got 10 days on it
PartyBullshiitThe foam inside helmets is not designed to take repeated heavy impacts. Once the structure of the foam has been distorted from a serious impact it will never again have the strength of protection it had prior.
Can you get away with wearing that helmet longer? Maybe, maybe not. You could fall again and be fine or you could fall again and be a vegetable. The reality is you caused enough damage to crack the interior foam which means it took a heavy enough impact that it had to protect your head by cracker the foam before the energy could reach your brain
personally I wouldn’t ski with that helmet again. There’s too many decent lids available at a decent price to justify the risk. You only have one brain.
maaatttShiiiiet, hard to tell for myself what's going on in the photos. But my rule of thumb has always been that if I start to question any bit about my helmet, I found a new brain bucket
kalle.if you have to ask someone else then it’s time to get a new helmet
Voyage86bro look at bern helmets. you can get a macron for 60$ and it looks great.
deke_skibros praying on my downfall😭😭

yungspliffyare you sure you didn’t already get brain damage from the fall that caused the cracks? Because you can’t seem to talk without saying ‘bro’ and using emojis
