skidude69420I’m looking at buying a pair of k2 method b&e right now. I’ve already gone to my local ski shop and tried on the normal methods. They fit great on my wider feet. I just can’t find any differences between the method and method B&E beside the liner and strap. Is there any differences I’m not seeing? Will the b&e fit the same as the method? Also what experiences do you guys have with this boot? Thanks
animatorTrying them on doesn’t really tell you a whole lot. Likely you tried the wrong size on. With the intuition liners, there’s no shape to them before they’re molded, so they tend to fit tight before a heat mold. If they felt fine when you tried them on and didn’t talk to a fitter, it’s likely you tried the wrong size. That being said, the difference between that and the Method is the color, strap, and liner. The shell remains the same and therefore the fit is very similar in the lower foot. You’d definitely notice a difference between the wrap liner and tongue liner in the shin/calf area. If your lower leg is not voluminous enough to fill the wrap liner up, you will indeed be here complaining about shinbang like @CatdickBojangles said.
skidude69420I’ve ridden my buddy’s drop kick pros and I didn’t have an issue with any shin bang. I have bigger calfs so they fill up the liner. A big reason I’m going with the method instead of drop kicks is because of the extra width and I liked the extra calf room with the methods.
