Replying to Beastly Rails in WA
Ok, i was at my sisters track meet at Bothel High, and to the south of the track near the open part of the field near the track, there is this monster 120 foot long rail. Its sloped enough that you could keep up constant speed, but wouldnt gain much. It has these little kinks in it, onyl like 3 degrees difference from the rest of the rail. The thing has a c in it too, about 50 feet from the start, and about 7 of the 3 degree kinks in all. One side of the rail is on grass, the other concrete, but it would be incredible to try and get at least some of the rail.
And At Inglemoor High, there is a 25 step wooden rail thats all out there in the open, all alone with a good stretch for a tow in.
AAAAAnd, at the new high school they are building by Seans house, there is a short little rail on the edge of the building that you see going to it from Seans house. Its only 15 feet long, good tow in possibility, and has a 10 foot dropoff after it onto a grass slope.
I dont know why i posted this, maybe i need to ski...
