Voyage86i’d say go centered or at most -1. just know that when you are centered your heal is still behind the center of the ski. center of the ski is around the middle of your foot.
tysontilleyisnt the centre of balance in a strong stance more torwards the front of foot and no centre of it, thats why -1 or even -2 is so tempting
tysontilleyIve heard so many different things on mounting park skis, the obvious one being true cent, but then I've heard -1cm as when you put shin pressure your truly over cent then, and then I've also seen people say all pros ride -2. I usually mount true cent and im just wondering if I should even bother moving back but the -1cm has me curious. I just ordered some mango 100s for my 1 ski quiver where I usually just ride tow rope (hence the true cent) but thinking about trying something new. Whats the rec on mango 100s even? I've heard -2 and -1 but idek
EverchangerOverthinking it go with recommended ON3P know what they are doing and I promise you won’t notice the difference but the skis are designed to be put on that line it’s a park ski and a damn good one go with what they say it’s not quite symmetrical I ride Mag 102s at recommended which is -2.25 they feel perfectly balanced realistically I’d only center mount a symmetrical ski think about it if the tail is slightly thinner then the tip the the center of weight is probably at -2 or so anyway
Voyage86if the tail is thinner and therefore lighter than the tip than the center of balance is in front of the center line bruh because there is more weight in the shovel.
EverchangerLMAO what a goon I am your right but my point still stands most people say they don’t notice any difference at -2 including me I even had a pair at -2.5 and didn’t notice a thing they felt completely balanced plus it has some more non park cability generally I doubt anyone has ever felt off balence at -2 also talked to Alex Hackel at Killington one time he said he doesn’t notice the difference between the Mags at true center and -2 but yet when he does street usually it’s true center and anything at a resort is -2 so it seems like there isn’t any reason not to go at recommended to me cuz that’s how they designed the ski to be ridden
