Multiple swaps on one feature

I’m trying to figure out how to swap more than once on a rail. Both my front and back swaps are pretty solid, but my unnatural slide swaps are so-so. Is there any trick to performing multiple swaps?

Start the first swap unnat then you’ll be able to do the next swap quicker

This, if you can learn how to do a quick unnat front swap then you start wit that and then you can stack your natural rail tricks after it

Yes as mentioned above practice unatty...also if you are doing dubswaps you practically have to land on the rail pretzeling

if you are doing double front swap, its like doing frontswap front 2 but you do it before the end of the rail. Similarly, if you are doing frontswap backswap, its like kfed but do it before the end of the rail

Practice swapping immediately after getting on the rail. You don't need to do this if the rail is long enough but it's often required.

Also, land after the swap in a way that sets you up for the second one, gripping with your leading ski's inside edge on your heel for a front swap or toe for a back swap.

Dub swaps aren't that hard if you can do any swap to 2 out combos you'll get it pretty quick

To be fair tho there is a time and a place for a dub swap depending on the variation and what feature you do it on. And they are fun.

idk if i agree to this but i edge my k-feds i like to fs then a very snappy surface bs last second and i think it look better than kfed

more than one swap would in fact make you a comp jock so why even try (i can only do shitty backswaps on a tubes)

backswap to frontswap is easiest imo. Set up for the backswap as if you were going to 2 on so you can do it immediately when you land on the rail. Another way to practice if you have a wide box available is to just do basically 360s on the box and introduce hops mid rotation, then take that to a tube. you can also practice on snow. A mellow A-frame box or rail is also good for dub swaps because that kink makes it so easy to do, and when you hit the up, it will slow you down enough to easily do a few swaps. A flat-down can work well too if you roll up to it fairly slow.

Getting one in is a real mind game. Its about momentum and timing. Timing the pop is the toughest part. It took me a few month of work to feel good on it.

to learnt them, boxes are your beat friend before taking it up on a rail.

Rather than dub swap you should combine all your swaps into one and just do 360 or 540 swap

bruh edging a kfed is too good



IMO multiple swaps looks freaking sick if it's just continuing front to back swaps, twirling around real fast on a rail is steezenut.

this was my progression order for that: unnat slides -> unnat 2’s out -> unnat swaps -> unnat swap 2 outs -> nat front up front swap -> unnat front up front swap -> etc double swap combo 2 outs

Just keep spinning the same direction.

90 on, blind, front, blind, front and so on.

practise doing 5s on a box first without hops, you don’t even really need so much edge control since you’re not changing direction. Then start adding a little hop at 90 and 270. Then bring the hops to a full swap. Then bring the same progression to a tube where you can surface swap it.

also the type of rail will help with this. An up flat down will make pretzel easier

double swaps have a fine line before it becomes whack. if you do fs fs you have lost the game. fs bs is swag. also doing two continuous swaps to pretzel out makes it look more like you are in control and cool.

I would agree, but it have been very over eposed past couple tears here, it’s become the it trick to learn and everybody is losing their mind over it. It’s not even that hard
