Boa liner vs normal liner

Actually there’s been some push back in the current boa liner. It’s not been great. Redesign is coming is my understanding.

When I was getting new boots the bootfitter was telling me how k2 was pushing boa extremely hard, I was like yeah that checks out lol

what’s the issue with the current boa liner ?

The issue we have seen is that is harder to get on and off. Its really no harder than a full lace up liner where you put the liner on first and then step into the boot and for this reason I had kept it in the highest flex 130 and 115W boots but we have had pushback that these consumers still do not want to have the extra step of how they put the boots on. For this reason we have changed the liner and have something really cool coming next season. That liner will be offered as an aftermarket liner so you can get them for any boot. Maybe worth waiting until next season for that new liner but get the Mindbender boots now if you like them before they sells out.

I absolutely love the fit of the Dispatch Pro Boa liner for touring. Never had blisters thanks to these liners. I do struggle with warmth control though - at the end of most days, there is a crust of snow/ice/frost on the liner. I first though my boots weren't "sealed" and let snow get in, but the boot fitter and I now think it's sweat that freezes inside the boot... Thoughts?
