Is tele core?

Sitting there, cored out with my dawgs, when all of a sudden this guy wearing all flylow and knee pads comes up entirely on his fuckin knees and asks who the best skier was. Of course I say me. Dude says I don’t even look core if I still have a heel piece on and does a nosebutter on teles? Never seen that shit. So of course I call him a goon and tell him to fuck off when all of a sudden he full on butters with knees bent and all on a rail and calls me out. I tell him to bend a knee and suck a dick and suddenly this hot ass chick comes up and they ride off and I see them making out in line later.

so what’s the deal? Is tele core now? Why did I just get fucked on tele style and got basically full on cucked by this douchebag?

One of my close friends grew up in Vail and rips on teles. There are not many things more aesthetic in this world than clean switch tele turns or nb 5s off cattracks with knees pretty much touching the ski.

I feel like with teles I can tell just by looking at the gear if its someone whose gonna be fun to ski with. If they got 22 outlaws with tx comps center mounted on some deathwishes or woodsmans, I can almost guarentee they rip- while excluding a couple local legends, most old heads on 75s barely even dropping a knee i felt like I looked better after a week on teles.

I personally think the right tele rig would be great for a one ski backcountry/sidecountry quiver where you can rip hard and not hate yourself while skinning.

it just came to my attention that its the same dude that snowboards at abasin, doing frontboard slides with alpine race boots, and talks shit to the snowboarders with burtons...

Meridian Tours! I have regular Meridians and they kill it when the snow is soft. Full rocker is fine as long as you keep em on edge. I'm skiing Bishops though, not in the 22D cool kids club yet

Before there were more options than early AT frame bindings like fritschis, anyone who was going to do any touring used teles.
