Replying to First trip out to Utah

Hey gang,

The fiancé and I are headed to Utah for the first time over Christmas break. We've done pretty much everything besides UT so with the tide being super low on the west coast, we decided to head inland.

We're on the Ikon pass and will have 5 days to ski. Planning on staying near downtown SLC and will have our vehicle (4x4). Coming with an open mind. I've done my homework and know some of the basics about the options in terms of mountains but any local insights are appreciated.
