Gorilla market

Over the last eleven or twelve years I’ve been designing and printing my own shirts, hoodies and crew necks under the moniker of gorilla market or sometimes “GMK” for design purposes. And after a decade of selling shirts by hand person to person like some t shirt trap lord I decided last fall to finally set up an online store to make it easier for people to access and check out.

What started as just a personal project and a desire to create graffiti based and influenced designs for t shirts has developed into a desire to grow and expand with more apparel the just printed shirts and hoodies. As I have also started experimenting and making more hand embellished shirts and hoods using bleach and started to mess with embroidery. Ultimately I just want to create stuff that I would like to wear and that I think others would like as well. As I keep experimenting with new ideas and possibilities I would like to share my experiences along the way with the ski community because I would be lying if I said freestyle skiing isn’t what put me down this path even though the idea behind Gorilla Market isn’t necessarily to be a ski or snowboarding brand but more of an art collective.
