Replying to Good daily driver?
I'm in the process of building a quiver for southwest Colorado, and I'm looking for a good daily driver.
I like to ski trees and steeps and go fast, so something with a good balance of stability and maneuverability would be ideal. I also have a very playful riding style, throwing 3's and butters around the mountain. I already have a park setup, but it would be nice for it to be able to handle a couple park runs.
I also dont know what width I should opt for. I would be skiing 50/50 groomers and off-piste. It would be nice for it to handle some powder, but I will probably get a powder setup in the near future.
as for length, I feel like I am caught between sizes for the moments (184 & 190). I am an advanced skier and almost 6'2" (187 cm tall), but am also a bit light for my height at 165-170 lbs. I am leaning towards the 184 for better maneuverability, but both the DW and WC are really rockered.
Skis I am considering:
Moment wildcat 101 & 108
Moment deathwish 104 - (seems like a good width for me, and Triple camber seems cool)
On3p jeffery 100 & 108 - (looks like it would be a bit more lively on the groomers than the moments and the arv 106)
Armada arv 106 - (Smear tech sounds cool)
I would also appreciate hearing anyone's experiences on these skis, and if the size fit them well.
