Full Tilt boot fitting advice

SkiEnthusiast420Hi guys, I just bought K2 Revolver TW pros (upgrading from my Salomon boot) and trying to get these to work.

it currently feels like my feet are literally in a vice clamp, which I don’t understand because I don’t feel like I have particularly wide feet, I am only 5’ 10” and 150lbs with average feet. I have friends over six feet tall and much bigger than me who fit easily into these. The length is fine just the width is killing my feet. Five minutes in these boots and my feet are throbbing so there’s no way I can break them in while skiing. I need to get them broken in at the boot fitter.


my question is how much can this shell be widened if I go to a good boot fitter? Is it common to have to get these punched and molded to this extent? Really trying to make this work but would suck to spend money on a boot fitter for it to not work and then not be able to return. I tried the K2 method as well with the wider last but it was also too tight and too heavy of a boot plus I prefer the cables and look of the revolver. The last is 99mm, would it be possible to widen to like 102-103mm? Would be ideal if I could get these as comfortable as my old Salomon boots.

VzxYeah you shouldn't buy online because there's a huge chance that the boots wont fit you as you haven't tried them on in person

SkiEnthusiast420I agree, it’s just there’s only 2 models of the Full Tilt (K2 flex) in 99mm and 102mm and I’ve tried both and both were too tight. So I have to go with one or the other.

SessionOr you could send them back, and go get fit for something that actually works for you. No one cares if you are in a 3 piece boot.

ZenyattaKickWell, my two suggestions to you would be to either consider the K2 B&E, and or the Method, they share the same shell as each other I believe the only difference is in the flex and angle of attack. These are the widest 3 piece boots that are park oriented that k2 produces maybe see if you can swap them if your boots are still unused. But hopefully it all works out man!

hamsauceStill dont understand how its almost 2024 and people are still not going to bootfitters. Guys- it seriously helps. Like a lot. I have never met someone whose regretter going to a bootfitter, but ive met a LOT of people who complain about boots they bought online

ZenyattaKickI’m not saying don’t go to a boot fitter, but you can still purchase a ski boot with a more compatible width to your foot, and then get it fitted. Full Tilt now k2 has 3 main park orientated widths and choosing the right one is definitely a good idea. I fit perfect into my TW Pros, however my DropKick Pros are slightly tighter on my foot.

tomPietrowskiJust fyi the internal shape of the revolve (drop kick fto shell) and the revolve plus (wallisch fts shell) is actually identical. The only slight change is in the toe box but it’s very very small and only due to needing to change the last and shell to accommodate the replaceable shells.
