GrapeHuntercrazy to pay you in store credit lmao
Christian_BaleI don't think it's a big deal to ride a park ski that's 4cm shorter than you are. It comes down to preference. Also depends on how they measure the length.
DlonettiI’m 5 10 and ride my 182 franks and love them. They deffo ski short cuz of how much rocker they have tho
BallClapperMy frank is 182.
lusch0Internship
skierman"Internship" aka legalized slavery. LOL you got played, kid.
HypeBeastLmao op, does your "internship" pass the intern test? If not, you actually got robbed. https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/fact-sheets/71-flsa-internships
Kinda sus they paid you in store credit versus nothing at all.
lusch0How tall are you?
PartyBullshiitHere’s a wild idea. Check out the size chart. You should be on 182.
Non_State_ActorThis is sort of useless when there are only two sizes. Basically 5’8” and shorter get 172, taller have 182. Size chart yo.
lusch0I worked over at Moment skis this summer and had a blast, got paid in store credit, and splurged on some skis. Got myself a Frankenski in 182cm because I thought it was the coolest thing ever and I still do. Downside is I’m about 6’2 (186ish cm), which feels like a pretty big deal taller than the Frank at 182cm. Is it worth it to keep them and ski? Will they ski longer maybe and can I make due or should I pass them down to my shorter brother?
Voyage86wait so you worked a whole summer for one pair of skis?
lusch0no-3 skis, 4 pairs of pivots, merch, and poles
PartyBullshiitYou never asked anyone at the factory why 182 was the longest length For their park dedicated ski?
DlonettiPoor op just wanted some advice on ski length and is getting personally attacked
SofaKingSickthat's NS for ya lmao
OP, how much do you weigh? those will be fine regardless but especially if you're light. people don't tend to account for weight as much as they should when analyzing ski sizes
lusch0Dude honestly, I don’t really care if I was paid in store credit or not. For a someone like me who’s young and wants to work in the industry in the future, hands on work experience at a small brand is great, so I’m definitely happy I did it regardless. Not everything is about money.

HypeBeast@Moment can you clarify on this intern test so we can all stop arguing about hypotheticals?
hot.pocketWe meet this criteria, give the kid a break.
IsaacNW82This criteria here? Or was it a paid internship and we're misunderstanding this? (Screenshot from https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/fact-sheets/71-flsa-internships)
lusch0Bruh I just wanted to know whether the skis would work for me
