Ninthward skis

Saw a dude wearing a ninthward hoodie the other day and it reminded me that it still is a thing (I think)
Has anyone rode the "new" ninthward skis if so how do they compare to the OG ones? whats the flex and durability like and can you still buy them

Gotta admit ive never ridden shnus. Theyre maybe along the lines of blends but the flex starts a lot closer to the tip and tail

My buddy has em and beat the crap outta them. He’s a heavy guy and busted them up but I thought they were dope. They’re like Icelantic nomad soft. Not as much as jet or Vishnu but more than say an ARV 96 or something of the sort. Wish they came in a bigger size. They pair well with ON3P Kartels.

Craziest ski I’ve ever bought, doesn’t compare to literally anything so I can’t honestly speak on normal OG 9s or much about durability as these skis are so damn unique. It’s a custom mold called the Mac 98 in a 185. There is only wooden core in like 140 cm of the skis, the tips and tails are insanely flexible (as they’re all fiberglass no wood) yet are stiff underfoot but you don’t really notice, just feel loose. Really fun ski for playing around at low speeds. They’re insane.

Mad dope that Dick is keeping the name alive tho.

It was either 500$ or 600$ I can’t remember but completely reasonable for a custom ski like that. Took a while to get them prolly like 4-5 months but I new that going in, got them over the summer. Idk if he still does customs but it’s worth asking if you’re into it.

yeah pretty much it’s kinda fucked up, horrible for actual skiing, fun to fuck around on haha
