Replying to DVX100A in 2023

What editing software works best for importing, cutting up, and editing DV footage? There’s a lot of clips I gotta cut up and piece together to make a (ski) movie. What’s the best way to get this done? I’m not opposed to iMovie since I already have it, but it doesn’t seem like the right program for the task at hand.


Any other DVX100A input/tips you might have would be welcome too.

I’m searching around rn and can’t find an answer from this decade lol
