Bent 110 alternative

widest ski I've had are my current vishnu wides, and then got mango 100's as my kinda do everything ski for park and all mountain for the east. Gonna be skiing out West a bit at Big Sky and was thinking bout picking up some bent 110's, still feasible for the very rare pow day in the east I figured but wanted to hear different opinions, any skis like it that might be a bit better? any info appreciated

Moment deathwish 112. Will rock on all conditions. Will give you extra bite when it’s icy on the east as well. Will be plenty of float for an occasional powder day.

moment countach 110. Will do great out west and have decent float in pow but it’s going to still charge like a champ and will do fine on the east coast when needed.

wildcat 108 a little narrower than the 110’s but what your sacrificing in width your gaining in east coast performance. Will do fine in pow until your getting deep.

do you want to prioritize east or west performance?

Also what’s your ideal length? I have the bent 120’s and have demoed the 100 and 110 as well.

so I’m giving an actual comparison.

Dedicated pow ski out west id say is in the 115 range. but out east id assume that is on the larger size.

Jeffrey 108 - fun ski obviously
faction Mana 3 - could be fun, haven't skied it tho
rossi sender 110 - heard hype about the new sender changes
dynastar m-free 108 - ski is so light and wippy. actually super fun

I'm 5'10, usually ski something in the low 180's. Honestly just something able to handle a decent bit of pow out west, fun to ski around with and will have a use on the east coast. Also, I usually ski most of my planks like they're park skis. Won't see any rails or anything but you bet your ass you'll see some 10/10 speed eagles and backies.

sounds like you want a ski from Moment, but lowkey the bent 110s will suit you really well, doesn’t get much better than them.

Moment has the 116 179 wildcat onsale as well as the 188 108 commander. Commander is going to be a fast ski since it’s a metal layered ski. More directional than the rest but still can pivot and slash to slow when needed

I have the 118 190 Wildcat and would easily recommend the 116 179 version as a do all ski. A lot of people are scared off by the width but at 116 waist the Wildcat is surprisingly usable across mountains. I was worried my 118 would be too wide but I’ve used it in tons of low tide and it still rocks

Aye thanks for the input y'all, gonna keep checkin out moment skis(never owned any) and keep the bent 110's in my back pocket for now. Also big ups to you guys, super knowledgable and helpful and got way more info in like half an hour of posting lmao

The bent 110 in my opinion is fairly boring. Maybe check out something like a reckoner 112. They're usually on sale somewhere and could be wicked fun. I've never skied the 112 but the 102 is one of my favorite skis I've ever ridden.

More expensive option but the Jeffery 108 is the best ski ever and is fun anytime the snow is something other than ice.

Rossi sender 110 is a super fun ski. Chargey and holds an edge well, but still playful and smeary enough to have a lot of fun skiing powder

The only thing I'll say there is that as a tech who works for a Moment dealer, they screen print their mount points on the sidewall and I've found them to be somewhat inconsistent. The Deathwish has a recommended line of I believe -5cm from true center, so I would measure that and make sure and maybe mark it for your technician's reference. Other than that, the skis fucking rip. Deathwish is one of the best ~110mm skis on the market in my opinion.

To add to the list of options:
Faction ct 3.0 -more or less same as mana 3, good option if you can find older used or new.
4frnt devastator- this year's version is supposed to go back to being heavier but I wouldn't rec for east coast
Fat ypus d'vice or c-zen- both good options if you are in east you'd also be supporting local
Prior northwest 110- I'd buy these if I wasn't poor, pretty much a jeffery but better in poor conditions.

But depending on how often you will be out west and the conditions you can easily get away with a 100mm waist. Good enough for seth morrison to huck dub backies off 100 ft cliffs anyway.

I ski wide pluses in montana most days unless there’s more than like 6” of fresh. The snow is super light so you can get away with a narrower ski. With that being said I think reckoner 112 look sick although i’ve never skied them. Had some shredittor 112’s and it was one of my favorite skis
