Big mountain SLVSH

We NEED some big mountain slvsh games this year. Always some of my favorites to watch.

Imagine a Freeride Cup at like Alta or Revelstoke. Conditions can vary daily but that's part of it. Would be insane

I am sure its a logistical nightmare but the world needs more inbounds hardpack content. Slvsh cup Grandvalira was without a doubt the most entertaining ski comp to watch last year. Freeride needs the same

I love the old alta ones. Do suggest watching "Lets take a lap" with sage, good content. Not SLVSH but also fun to watch actually charging natural hits kinda in a SLVSH non-comp way.

Amen- I too have binge watched those several times over. Seeing new ones filmed in like Revelstoke, Kicking Horse, Baker or even back at Alta/Bird and Aspen like the old ones would be so cool. Definitely a challenge though.

Too lazy to read whether it's been said but it's obviously harder to lap big mountain lines than a rope tow or a shorter lift

Wouldn’t need to be lapping. You could go up Wildcat once and have three or four different sets before you hit the base of the lift.

In 2021 @Pow.der.ranger started Rule The Ridge at Bridger. They were on IGTV, but doesn't seem like that's around anymore. You can still find clips on the ruletheridge gram. Check the brackets. Oh what could've been

Weird flex but Blake Wilson and Grant Howard watched me do my first double backflip at Alta and I saw it on Grant's instagram story that night. They both seemed very amused at the not very big jump that I was attempting it on lol

You were organizing it? Thats dope. Could be good for lower consequence stuff. Could even just be off of pk and Bridger lifts

If SLVSH isn't doing it, you might as well do it yourself. Start something at your local resort and make Freeride SLVSH a thing

We tried last year but had some organizational issues. Keep an eye out this winter! Big focus for us is moving out of the park as much as we can to expand!

I made a thread about Natural Selection for skiers but it didn't get much response. The snowboarders go head to head tourney style in Natural Selection...
I think jib league style jams would be really cool. where they vote later. kings and queens does that, with skiers vs snowboarders to boot! now that I think of it, that event is like jib league on corbets into a medium money booter. and the kids have torn it up! but I want to see skiers on the NS zone at Jackson too...
