OK hear me out. Fortnite, objectively, is cringe. I don't fuck with the fanbase, story line, buying v bucks or shit to get different emotes and what not. we all know this.

HOWEVER, the gameplay and game mechanics are surprisingly smooth, battle Royale dynamics are undoubtedly fun. And I be playin that shit from time to time. Its really fun to log on and ruin the day of some 12 year olds, even tho I already do that here

It's a great game, had so much fun playing it but only experienced the 2017 mobile version. Game got a little weird when meteors and shit starting happening. Also the extreme building strategies ruined the game.

My boss and I just talked about fortnite for like an hour, probably gonna play with my younger brother tonight.

Genuinely curious, would you rather have lived through faze clan COD Era as a kid or the fortnite boom, I think fortnite might have been more fun tbh

fortnite boom was peak. The evolution of the building mechanic over time and the constant changes far outweigh and cod gameplay.

Idk playing MW and MW2 back in the day was so fuckin fun. Zombies in World at War and all the black ops with the boys and a 12 pack of mountain dew till 4am in the summer was great as well.


not to mention it was battlefields hayday as well. Bad company 1&2 and bf3&4 were genuinely some of the best online games ever made.

I feel like for a lot of people, halo 2 was the first time you were playing with somebody that wasn't sitting next to you. It wasn't the first to do it but it did it really fucking well. On top of that there was an excellent campaign.
Think when it comes to this debate it has more to do with at what point in your childhood you were at than anything. I don't really play video games much anymore, friends all switched to PC games and I suck ass with a mouse and keyboard, and don't enjoy playing games with random people. Games with good storylines can still pull me in tho.

As much of a og cod fan I am, I have to agree. It was so convenient when I was a freshman in college it was the perfect conversation starter for meeting friends

Halo 2 and 3 were the greatest videos games ever made. Campaign, music, multiplayer, theatre, forge, graphics. To this day, it's the largest leap any game has taken, it changed everything.
