Replying to Pivot 15 overkill or fine

Getting multiple responses to me getting the pivot 15

im 5’6 weighing 137lbs
type 3/3+ (whatever type you consider the highest)

some people say it’s overkill and some say I’d be fine. My din has probably changed from a 6 anywhere up to 7.5 this summer

help/wise advise would be good
i just kinda prefer the quality feel of the 15s
