So for normal boots if you dont keep it buckled the plastic will deform but with the way that buckles on full tilts work would the same happen?

Mine leak so a lot of times I take my liners out and put them on a boot dryer. When I put them away dry I always buckle them and I like they way they feel snug when they have been buckled for a while. I am not sure if it matters too much. I kinda think that after a few runs and you adjusting the buckles they will fall into place as they should.

It’s the plastic of the shell that deforms not the buckles. So yes, keep them buckled up.

always keep your boots fully buckled when not in use whether they’re 3 piece or 2 piece. this helps the plastic retain its stiffness and flex over time, more so matters for 2 piece/overlap boots tho.

I fully tighten my boots during the summer because during the season I like my boots really tight so it helps keep the form I want
