Jeffrey 108 vs 4frnt devastator

6 ft 180 lbs, San Juan skier (purg, telluride, wolf creek, silverton) Looking for a ski for Freeride comps and cliffs and powder and pretty much everything to do with big mtn/freeride. They seem pretty similar and have a similar price just not sure which to get. I’ve ridden Jeffrey 102s in the past and wasn’t a huge fan of the long turning radius but I’ve never tried any 4frnt skis and not sure how durable they are

I was torn between the Jeff 110's and the devs last year and ended up going with the devs. The devs float so well for a ski that is 108 and IMO they are the perfect weight for a ski that's light enough to throw tricks on but still doesn't get bumped around in crud

All in all, I recommend the devs

Idk the Jeff’s have a pretty short turning radius for a freeride ski

Jeffery 108 is a good choice, you'll probably like them more than you did in the park. They are easier to get more energy out of when you're going fast. Most fun all mountain ski I've ever had personally.

I have jeff 102 191 and dev 194 (which is 112). Jeff is way stiffer and less edge hold on firm, and less damp. Dev feels like its mounted a little further back but isn't. Dev feels a little more traditional but still falls firmly on the playful side and feels more stable. Dev is a better charger than Jeff. For freeride comps I'd choose Dev, but for casual screwing around I'd choose the Jeff.

I'd go with Dev for your purposes, especially if you did not like the 102.
