Lol I was mostly joking because it used to be my homes running the club but that was years ago. Left Utah in '18. No idea who runs it now.

Can confirm it's still incredibly loose. Not sure if it's loose enough for them to plug up a discount code. Nowadays ikon requires that you send in a student ID number and class schedule to get a discount code. Also, completely unrelated to that, at U of U student ID numbers are formatted like uXXXXXXX and sample class schedules are findable online. Good Luck!

I remember the days when ikon would just verify via your student email. Seniors could buy a pass for the next year when they went on sale in the spring 😉

You can still do that. Ikon will accept pretty much anything that "proves" you're a current student at the time of purchase.
You can also just fake it. I've been updating my transcripts to say I'm still in school for 3 extra years now
