Another "which ski" thread

steeznsznTitle says it all. Stuck between line sakana and QST blank. Looking for a secondary "all mountain" typa ski behind my poachers. Just want something I can casually rip around inbounds along with the occasional cliff drop. Input from people that have ridden either is greatly appreciated. Home mountain is bridger if that helps

Sakana Is way more playful and versatile but maybe a little less stable at high speeds. The QST blank is alright but I found them to feel rather lifeless

qsts are very planted and less playful but you can rip groomers like nothing else on those

There is probably some bias to this but I feel like line skis will blow up skiing bridger really fast. I knew one dude try out the visions at bridger and he broke them so fast. Feel like with all of the speed associated with bridger the Sakana’s would just blow up real quick and chatter themselves apart.

190cm or above all you need anything less isn’t needed

This is the most stupid which ski -thread I have seen so far. These skis have pretty much nothing in common

These skis have almost nothing in common as far as riding characteristics go. The sakana gets pushed around a bunch and deflects pretty easily. if you are mostly skiing pow and groomers exclusively it would be a great ski. as soon as the snow gets weird or you hit deathcookies shit starts to get wild. The QST on the other hand is way burlier and is fine with being pushed. ya won't get bounced around as much on these. Honestly there are better options. Although the quality is iffy a faction prodigy 3.0 would be great. I have been skiing on those for the past two seasons. Super fun, surfy ski that holds up in chop decently well. On the other hand it doesn't have the greatest float. Mount point is another weird thing with these skis, I would recommend -2 from true center rather than the -69 or whatever recommended is. (-5 I believe.)
