Skiing in scandinavia on new year

Me and my friends are planning to go on vacation to scandinavia during the time about new year. Can you guys tell me if this is to early at this time then? We thought about going to Are and Klappen but we wanted to make sure they have a decent park at this time. Does anybody know how the situation usually is there at this time of the season? Are there any other resorts with nice parks during this time?

Ruka usually has great park on new year.

Kläppen usually doesn't open their big park until later in January. The "blue line" opens at the same time as the rest of the mountain, it has a pretty good rail setup but not much in the way of jumps. The have clips from there on their yt channel

Can't speak to Åre as I've never been

Ruka should have decent park by then. Maybe not the biggest jumps quite yet but that depends on the weather.

Kläppens park isnt open by then but Hemavan have good park that time and i think Åre also have a good park by then

Thank you all for the answers so it would might be Ruka, problem is just getting there is way more complicated and expensive but if it’s worth it we might go for that.

The dark Ruka vibe we know from the vids is actually what we want, if we want to have sun we can just ski here in Laax lol

Oh I will promise you that December-January in Finland will deliver all the darkness you will ever need.
