mechanically a kickflip is probably harder but mentally a backflip is relatively harder to perform in regard to kiclifp

i'm gonna say trying to kickflip while wearing skis would be the hardest. not much in the way of ankle articulation in ski boots

In theory you can learn how to backflip in like 5 minutes on a shitty backyard jump as long as you have the balls to do it.

Definitely kickflips. With the right jump backflips aren’t really difficult at all, they just take commitment. Took me probably thousands of tries to get kickflips down though. Skating is the most difficult action sport imo

Ok I think there is consensus here… I don’t think anyone has ever landed a kickflip their first try where that happens frequently with backflips.

What are closer in difficulty: kickflip and backflip or ollie and backflip?

Antuwan Dixon’s first kickflip was first try ahaha, I think backflips and dropping in on mini ramp are pretty similar

backflip = way higher consequence
