KilaTsunamiSounds like a really great idea to get familiar with the visual of a new trick. I’d try it

AbiHI mean your brain can’t tell the difference between visualization and reality so I bet it’d work.
gravelyou ski with your body, no VR way to simulate gravity changes/rotations or the tactile parts like feeling where your edges are
it sounds fried
33luke33If I catch my homie legitimately trying to "train" with vr he's getting a left jab right hook combo to the dome before I crush his goofy ass headset into sand and flush it down the toilet

gnarley_marlSo you’ve never closed your eyes visualized a trick and taken a few deep breaths before you send it? Luke warm take
gravelvisualization is linked to a feeling and i don't think that is separable. if i'm visualizing i'm imagining how something feels, not just what i can see
Farmville420I mean "visualizing" success is a real thing and if i can't picture what it looks and feels like to do a trick I usually don't land it so honestly it would prob help
KilaTsunamiThats what I'm sayin. Very rarely do you succeed without visualizing the trick beforehand. A really clear (Non-Nauseating) first person VR might help for some of those advanced/complex rotations. They could probably even make it, so that the user has to turn their head in the right directions to complete the rotations and land the trick.
skiermanYou're fucking retarded.

AbiHBoooo R word in 2023👎🏼
jompcockScamming skiers seems easy as fuck. "Yeah so we got these tiny skis with snowboard bindings that you can spin around on a foam curb with. $400". No it will not fucking help you learn big mountain try actually skiing. Flipping your phone in the air will be as effective in teaching you air awareness as skiing in VR would be. Ride a bike down a mountain or some shit.
skiermanYou sound like a fucking idiot.
