My ski boots smell bad and ima be living in a dorm w a roommate. Is there any way I can like wash the inside of my liner so they don’t smell as bad? For football we used to throw dryer sheets in our cleats so maybe it’ll work for boots too?
1- kill the fungal/bacterial culture in your liners
2 - buy wool ski socks and use a fresh pair every time you ski
3 - remove liner from shell and dry after every ski
In my experience 80% of the battle is making sure they dry out thoroughly after every time you ski. Taking the liners out and getting a cheap boot dryer helps. Then I get an antifungal spray and spray it in the liner every once in a while
i cant believe no one has said baby powder
yet. cheap, easy, clean. i like to put a bit in before and after skiing but honestly thats a bit of overkill. i use it in my shoes too
You can hand wash them. I have used powder for climbing shoes in the past with some success. It’s basically baby powder. But yeah wetness will be the biggest battle.
