Mayrandpodcastit depends what you're looking for skiing wise and what your budget is but here are some recommandations
Laurentians : Avila for the park , Tremblant for the mountain
lanaudière : La réserve for the powder days & Val Saint-Côme for the mountain
Montreal: there was a snowpark setup at the olympic stadium the past 2 seasons, nice to hike some rails
south shore: bromont for the park, Sutton for the mountain
All of them are 1h-1h45 distance from montreal , there's nothing really inside a 45min distance (Avila is usually under 1h depending on trafic and where you're leaving from)
Bus / trains are doable but pretty inefficient, if you don't have a car your best bet is to rent something like communauto
WoFlowzApplying to McGill as a international student from the US because I’ve been talking to their rowing coaches. Just wondering what’s the ski situation up there along with realistic travel times to ski and if you need a car or if there’s bussing/trains etc

snowfinderSaw the rails at the olympic park this spring looked like a decent set up.
Jay is bit of a drive but worth it.
Raf.Diaz.all seriousness if you want a season pass somewhere i think avila (sommet st sauveur) is a good choice debatably the best park in mtl area, first and last to ski and the community is sick
ankCan you even apply to uni in Québec without a cegep/college diploma?

WoFlowztheir website has an option for International Undergrad. So I’d assume so but i have to go over it with my counselor once school starts this year. She had two kids from my school go to U of T and one to York. Idk if all Canadian schools work the same tho.
WoFlowzSo most likely would be riding Avila and then on the occasional pow day or day I wanna go for a tour probably just buy a day pass to tremblant or la reserve? Would probably be a good idea to bring a car to school based off what y’all said. Along with hike park to save cash.
Do canadian schools have as big of party or greek life as american schools? Along with are canadian season passes absurdly expensive like here? I mean HV’s season pass is like 1199 now which is nuts. Also is there student passes?
