GourdI have pivots with 95 brakes on mine, they work great.

BLandzWhat makes you think pivots are far better than attacks

KridetusI bought the pivot 14:s. Since the skis are 105mm and i bought the 115 pivots will the pivots brakes break?
KridetusOn your uppers?

PartyBullshiitthe brakes won’t break on your 105.
BLandzYo @Kridetus come back to this thread after your pivot brakes snap after you’re first sw eject and then i’ll give u guys 3 more reasons why STH is the superior binding.
jk pivots are sick I loved mine but the brakes suck balls on them. As someone who has tried all of the most popular bindings i’ll say that pivots are marginally better for releasing but it has too many cons so im an STH fanboy now.

PartyBullshiitMy sth2 are not superior to my pivots.
I’ve had pre releases from my sth2 because my boot sole wore down and the original adjustments were no longer tight. That’s why the new strive 16gw are auto adjust. Removes the failure point.

Gourdyes on my uppers.
BLandzlike I said, all bindings have their pros and cons, but if your boot sole wears down you can just adjust the sth to fit the boot again and if your boot sole is wearing down that much idk wtf ur doing to ur boots tbh hahaha.
KridetusU have some sick as skis.
PartyBullshiitThat’s why they dropped the strive gw. To get rid of the need for adjustments because using your boost will wear the soles. That’s just a fact. And sth’s are known to have pre release when the toes get worn down and the adjustments come out of spec, again another well known fact.
I should be using cat tracks to protect the soles. But don’t.
BLandzYa I totally agree with what your saying. Having that much adjustability comes with that problem, I had it myself, all im saying is that all bindings have pros and cons and I like the pros too much on the STH to go back to pivots. And the biggest pros imo are the way they look aesthetically (ik, not very tech of me, sry, im that guy) and the ability to quickly change brakes if they snap which constantly happens to my pivots. Like I said, performance wise Pivots are slightly better but i’ll take checking adjustments and high stack height over snapping brakes and needing a leash or remount and a shitty step in (comparatively).
We can go on all day about pros and cons of all bindings but they are both well designed and i’ve never felt unsafe on my STH’s, they do have a good release, not quite as good as pivots but still good nonetheless. Both are excellent bindings but im staying with my STH’s and im sure you will stay with your pivots and I don’t blame you lol
KridetusWhat kind of experiences have u had on the uppers?
GourdI've really enjoyed them. theyre really playful but still supportive. the width is really fun as well. mine have held up quite well, after 2 seasons there's no edge cracks, just topsheet chips and a few dents in the edge.
KridetusWhere did you mount them and how do they work in pow?
