Ari.ganjuI just bout brand new armada edollo skis size 164 and paired them with look pivot 15gw. I noticed the bindings feel very heavy and as a smaller person was wondering if that would affect me? I am a advanced skier and I am going to use them mainly in park and some all mountain. Should I return them and get different bindings?

PartyBullshiitJust rock them. You’ll be fine. They’re great bindings as long as they’re within your din range.
if you absolutely want to go lighter and already drilled grab some pivot 14’s. Same mounting pattern but plastic toes do slightly lighter.
you’d have no problem selling the 15’s. What color are they?

hamsauceTheres a 135 gram difference between the pivot 14 and 15. Thats the Weight of an AA battery. Unless your a gram counting backcountry nerd (we do exist on NS), don’t worry about weight. You’ll be just fine.
Ari.ganjuI weigh in at the 120-130 range haven’t checked in a sec
Ari.ganjuReally the weight is that small? Definitely going to keep them now. Thanks a bunch 👍
hamsauceQuick edit- i read the type of battery wrong. Its about the same as a type d, which is a little more. 130 grams is less than a baseball according to a google search. Still negligible

Christian_Balebindings have no noticeable impact on how heavy the skis feel. I'm far from being knowledgeable about physics, but the bindings are so close to the center of the axis of rotation that there's a negligible impact on swing weight. Riding skis that get wider towards the tip and tail will have a more noticeable impact
Non_State_Actorbut it's easy to get used to and a lot of factors go into how light the ski feels on snow.
