There are some edits where the guy skiing is acting super hard, and I love those, but I was going through a rewatch of some real ski edits and came across Jake Mageau's first real ski in 2019, and the whole range of emotions expressed there just put a smile on my face. Roasted by Oliver Hoblitzelle is a favorite. Such a feel good-wanna go ski with your homies kinda film. Soundtrack is awesome and like it sounds stupid but there are so many smiles in it, it’s not one of those “I’m hard af” movies

Yeah all of them had very raw styles as well, it was also the moment everyone kinda realized sam and mike were going pro so all the beast coast edits hit super hard

This might be a longshot but anyone remember the name of a springtime(I think) backcountry edit where they had a big bonfire and were shooting shotguns up in the mountains? Pretty sure they built a jump over the fire at some point. If I had to guess it was late 2000s or early 2010s and I remember thinking how unreal of a day that would be. Other than that early TC episodes soothe the soul in a splendid way.
