Is a Mammoth trip worth it right now?

I’m thinking about making the 8.5 hour drive to ski mammoth for a few days. Is there even much of anything left to ski?

It's probably right on the edge of being worth it. It was great 2 weeks ago, but it looks like they've closed a lot of terrain and shortened the hours since then.
But also, even if the skiing's not great, there's always a ton to do in town

plenty of regular skiing, as of today the park is down to one pretty big jump and about 10 rails

I’m at mammoth right now and it’s still pretty good even though they closed main park but snow is melting fast.

Main is still open- mammoth is honestly doing fantastic more mid July skiing.
it starts getting pretty freaking soft by about 8:30-9:00 am though. If you’re gonna get here, get here early, get decent parking, be on the first couple chairs at 7:30. Don’t pay 30 bucks to park, don’t spend all day waiting for the parking bus (although they’ve been pretty timely).

I ended up making the trip last night and skied today and I can say it was well worth it. Thanks everybody for the input.
