NSislame907Where are you located? And if you're in the US, what state are you biking in?
Farmville420Holy federal agent
Farmville420I had saga too, im literally a millenial, we all looked retarded, pretending that shit is still sick is lame and inaccurate. It was super corny and looked horrible, but everyone had it so nobody cared. People wearing "shitty custom pants" is the 2020s version of wearing a saga anomie jacket in the 2010s
muffMan.There’s some trash colorways for sure, but these things last, and the basic colors look fine. I got two jackets and two pants that I got used. Have probably put 50 days on each item, and not a seem rip or anything. Trash them on trees, rails, and mud and still waterproof.
Farmville420I've just realized saga is just the J skis of outerwear. Every argument is about the quality of the products and even with some banger designs majority are pretty ass and look like they were designed by 7 year olds.
Maybe I should cop some saga and be consistent. Either way 50 days ain't much I've had my R3 pants for like 100-150 days of skiing (somewhere in that range) and they're still literally mint
muffMan.That’s fair, I like R3 stuff and from what I’ve heard it’s a similar style, no insulation but a mesh inner with a thick outershell. I hope they get into the top part of outerwear cause I’m sure it’ll be nice.
Main thing keeping it is also the fit, I’m 6’3 and love the XL length, not boxy, sits just above mid thigh for me, have not found a burly shell that doesn’t sit at the hips.
I agree with your take on overly baggy thug era, like this would look so goofy on someone under 6’ imo. Also I’m sure these items have seen well over the 50 days that I’ve had them given the age.
bustedpivotSaga quality at least in the later years was lietrally the quality you’d get from stuff sold at Walmart. Absolutely the cheapest materials and construction. It sucks cuz their pants had 37” inseams which I loved and impossible to find.
SlowbroIt was always pretty bad the first few years of production ripped the second your edges touched them. Still better than First Drop though, I remember seeing so many FD pants with the insulation coming out
hippystinxsaga is a cautionary tale for any business that wants to absolutely demolish its reputation and run a business into the ground. When you start cheaping on design, and materials, customers notice and stop buying your shit. When you change fit/cuts to be more mainstream it alienates your core business. When you then start doing regular seasonal sales, people stop buying full price outerwear. Then the death spiral begins.
Slugger66First Drop's epic decline made much more sense to me once I realized it was Lesh's company
SlowbroYeah Lesh has always been a kook. I still think the first release from FD is kinda sick although that might just be nostalgia talking. They haven't made a single piece of outerwear I wanted after the pink suit lmao.
Vish-shoeLmfao they put a pocket over the zipper?
and these motherfuckers say homemade pants are bad 😂😂😹
VISHNUThough it will most likely not be to my taste, I do respect skiers striving to make their own money rather than having to beg for money from multinational corporations that don't give a fuck about them.
isaacwrongDigital pics of clothing online, no size charts, no thread count info or even if it's a lightweight tee/heavy weight hoodie, handwash only etc. Whole thing seems sketchy and I wouldn't be surprised if it's a third party print on demand manufacturer. Everything is screen printed which would hint to that. Sad that kids will buy these
VISHNUAs far as third party print on demand, that is the standard these days whether I like it or not. Prices are reasonable as well, this whole project may be overhated.
